Business Development Exec Not for Profit Business Travel
London, Home, Field and Office based
£30 - 35K Basic, OTE £45K
A specialist travel management company are seeking a Business Development Executive to join their expanding team in London. This role will involve identifying potential opportunities for new business within the charity / not for profit sector, proactively performing sales calls from leads and business development. Duties will include:
- Developing profitable new business by cleverly managing the territory and running sales activities including cold calling, database search and client networking
- Analysing travel purchasing data and identifying cost saving opportunities
- Preparing and presenting information including tender proposals
- Conducting client presentations and product training
- Identifying and attending client specific exhibitions.
Experience and skills required:
- A travel industry background, ideally, but not necessarily, in business travel
- Experience of prospecting for and delivering new business
- Excellent communication, presentation negotiation skills
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines
This is a field based role, reporting into the London office and with frequent travel. The successful candidate will receive an excellent package including an excellent basic salary plus a bonus and car.
