This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a luxury travel company in the Oxfordshire area.
Due to expansion we are looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for delivering excellent sales and service results through a team of dedicated sales specialists.
The role of the Sales Manager
Lead the sales team with drive, energy and urgency to ensure maximum sales are extracted from the available leads.
Effectively manage the performance of individuals within the team ranging from new starters to high performers, by ensuring weekly 1-to-1 catch-ups and appraisals are conducted in a timely fashion.
Co-ordinate all training with Training Department.
Manage the resource levels (allowing for trips, holiday, sickness and leavers) within the team according to business need and forecast requirements where possible.
Provide sales & product training and constant support to Country Specialists within your region. Be available as a point of reference for questions.
Build strong relationships with Suppliers and maintain a good working relationship.
It is essential that candidates have previous sales management experience including recruiting, inducting and training new starters. USA product knowledge is an advantage, although not essential.
