Working with the product and buying department, as a Purchasing Manager / Buyer, you'll be responsible for reducing rates in order to ensure our client's product is competitive through all brands and channels.

Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and profits, you will co-ordinate with the buying and marketing teams, as well as other commercial teams, to ensure the best rates to successfully drive volume and margin.

Your duties will include:

- Liaising closely with product and buying teams to ensure rates meet targets
- Ensuring all stock is competitive
- Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
- Specialising in the lates/special offers department
- Negotiating and communicating all late deal rates to the product team

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

- Purchasing experience
- A proven track record within a commercial buying environment within the travel industry
- Experience of achieving revenue and profit targets

As a Purchasing Manager / Buyer, you'll need a good level of IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access. A flexible approach is also key.
