Purchase Ledger Administrator - Foreign Currency Payments

As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will ensure that accurate payments are made to overseas transfer suppliers on a timely basis. You will also oversee the checking of invoices received and the allocation of payments undertaken.

Overseeing the Transfer Payments Team, you will ensure effective communication between the team, finance department, suppliers and the rest of the group. You will also collate regular reports and provide updates on the status of transfer payments.

Your duties will include:

- Checking supplier invoices received against the costs recorded in our internal systems
- Investigating any cost discrepancies
- Preparing accurate and timely remittance advice for suppliers
- Collecting marketing contributions, rebates and deduction of compensation

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Proven purchase ledger experience
- A deep understanding of foreign currency, and debits and credits
- Experience of dealing with supplier payments
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel

As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you must have excellent leadership and communication skills. An organised approach and a strong attention to detail are also key.
