Specialist Business Travel Consultant - BT Reservations Agent - Business Travel Reservations - Aberdeen

Our award winning' business travel client is currently looking to recruit several specialist business travel consultants to handle all business travel reservations on a number of client accounts from their busy offices in Aberdeen

As a specialist business travel consultant you will have a good working knowledge of the UK business travel market, and have the ability to build strong relationships with clients on a number of business travel accounts. You will be required to tailor-make complex travel itineraries for your business travel clients, and make reservations for domestic & International scheduled flights and various ground products (hotels, car hire, rail & ferries). You will handle any operational duties as required, to include issuing tickets & travel documentation, and generating invoices & refunds for your clients. You will also be required to meet, and where possible exceed, a number of sales & customer service targets, and have the ability to offer your clients advice on general business travel practice.

As a specialist business travel consultant you will have some previous experience working in a similar business travel or business travel reservations role booking scheduled flights and various ground products, and have some experience handling various operational duties for your clients (ticketing, invoicing & refunds). You will have great attention to details, be extremely customer focused, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines within this fast-paced business travel environment. You will also be a self-starter, extremely PC literate, and have a good working knowledge of a GDS (preferably Galileo, although cross training from Sabre or Amadeus may be an option). Previous experience working in travel sales, or maximising revenue on bookings within business travel, would prove an advantage.
