An Air Operations Coordinator is required to join this rapidly expanding cruise company based in Southampton. Excellent GDS knowledge and previous ticketing experience is required for this challenging Air Operations Coordinator position.
Ideally coming from a previous background in Air Operations within a tour operator environment, the Air Operations Coordinator will have access to an excellent base salary, fantastic benefits and a 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday working week!!!
Air Operations Coordinator Job Description
- Utilise all preferred Airline contracts
- Accurate & timely construction of PNR's in their GDS
- Assign flights to the cruise system, ensuring the allocations are used
- Ensure mandatory tours and hotels have been assigned to the reservation.
- Handle incoming calls from internal and external clients & customers
- Offer high standard of customer service
- Assist custom air requests such as stopovers and upgrades within set time frames
- Assist staff travel coordinator when required
- To assist the reservations department during peak periods
- To participate in Air Sea department projects as required
Experience Required for the Air Operations Coordinator
- Current GDS experience essential (Ideally Sabre)
- Ticketing and fares/nett fare contracts eg: BA level 1
- Airline contracts and pricing
- Group flights and allocations
- Be self motivated and have initiative
- Have attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extended hours (if required only)
