Job Description

My client is a leading and highly successful travel organisation and is currently looking for a Ticketing Team Leader for their Glasgow office.The role will involve leading and developing your team to ensure all bookings are ticketed accurately following all business and system processes for my client. Emphasis is placed on driving a high quality of work ensuring all deadlines are met, whilst working closely with business leaders to provide process improvements. This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Ticketing Team Leader to develop their career with a progressive and growing travel organisation. My client can offer a competitive base salary plus industry benefits. Please note that ticketing support is over 7 days per week on a rostered/shift basis.

Role of Ticketing Team Leader:

Management responsibility for your Ticketing team to maximise performance, quality and attendance at work.
Coach and develop individuals within the Ticketing Department
Full awareness of business targets to achieve in line with business plan
Accountability for achievement of results.
Driving quality results within your team whilst meeting all ticketing deadlines and service levels
Process improvements to deliver enhanced customer service

Necessary skills required:

Excellent geographical knowledge worldwide
Previous experience of a customer service environment would be beneficial
Experience of Galileo, Amadeus or Worldspan System
Nett, CAT35 and Published Fares processing experience is desirable
Experience of IATA ticketing within a travel sales support environment is advantageous.
Previous leadership/management or supervisory experience would be beneficial
Understanding of ticketing systems would be beneficial, both air and ground.
Excellent analytical report writing abilities.
Ability to decipher supplier tariffs, converting foreign currency to determine costs.
Able to implement processes and procedures.
Attention to detail is essential
