Food and Beverage Expert To offer a unique taste of the hospitality of Modern Arabia, as well as excellent Customer service and safety onboard.
Using your extensive food and wine knowledge, it is your responsibility to inspire our guests, give recommendations and help make their journey a unique and memorable experience, especially in relation to culinary excellence.
In addition, you will ensure guest satisfaction and lead the service in our premium cabins under the direction of the Cabin Manager. You will also work with the rest of the Cabin Crew to ensure the safety of guests onboard our aircraft at all times.
Qualifications: To qualify for the opportunity you will need to meet the following criteria:
Ability to swim at least 25m unaided in open water, without a flotation device
Minimum 21 years of age
No tattoos visible whilst in Etihad uniform
Educated to a minimum level of accredited secondary education or equivalent.
Medically fit to meet regulatory requirements.
Empathetic with a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
Must be able to reach 210cms without shoes
Experience:
At least 3 years experience in the Hospitality Industry in a leadership role
Food and Beverage knowledge
Customer Service Experience
Cabin Crew experience is an asset.
Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
A high standard of English; verbal, written and comprehension.
Fluency in another language is an advantage.
Preference will be given to suitably qualified and experienced UAE Nationals for this position.
