Job Description

Are you a fantastic Operations manager looking for a new challenge with a leading business travel company? An Operations Manager is required for a leading global business travel company based in Berkshire area.


JOB DESCRIPTION
A very exciting and high profile position has arisen as part of the continuing development in the Thames Valley region.
Reporting to the Vice President Operations & Account Management for that region, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational service quality and efficiency initially across the service centres and implants.

The Role involves:
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of techniques for driving quality of service and increasing operational productivity & efficiency whilst maintaining very strong and effective teamwork.
Client interaction will form part of the role and applicants are expected to be fully conversant will all Travel products and services and to be able to confidently and professionally represent the company through attendance at sales presentations and customer review meetings. Candidates are also expected to have a very strong financial management and budgetary understanding.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Significant Business Travel experience at management level.
Track record of proven operational effectiveness in significant sized operational centres.
Experience in client management roles with proven account management experience related to operational objectives.
Excellent written and numerical ability with demonstrable leadership and motivational skills.
Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and client presentations
Knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, presentation and email software, Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Knowledge of contract management.
Knowledge of call centre management and staffing techniques.
Ability to travel on a regular basis including weekends when needed
Capability of thinking innovatively, strategically and conceptually
Ability to work independently, developing strategies, action plans and implementation of plans
Ability to manage change and demonstrate personal adaptability and flexibility.
