Spotting great fares, promoting special offers and competitor analysis are all duties of this newly created position for two lucky travel industry professionals to make their own! JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Working as a team with one other Fares and Product Specialist in a wider office
- Competitor analysis, monitoring the prices and products of your direct competitors
- Compiling reports to feedback to the relevant departments
- Monitoring of fares and rates; rebooking to ensure best rates for your team and customers
- Analysing sales and fares, to see where special offers can be promoted
- Liaising with marketing and reservations to promote fares and special deals
- Working to achieve both cost savings and increase sales, to achieve bonuses
- Working Monday - Friday office hours
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidates will have solid GDS and fares knowledge, with an especially good understanding of nett airfares. You will be analytical and be confident to suggest ideas from your analysis. You will be driven to make an impact on the companies cost savings and sales, in order to achieve bonuses
THE PACKAGE:
A basic salary of circa £17k pa is on offer, but bonuses can be achieved for reaching agreed targets. You will be working for a reputable established company, offering a pension, travel discounts and additional incentives.
