Galileo trained Events Consultant required to join the team of this global Travel Management Company. Working in the dedicated MICE department of this well established and popular brand, we are looking for an experienced Events Consultant to join this busy team located in the Lanarkshire area.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will be based within the specialist MICE Department, working on the Events Team and your main areas of responsibility will include:
* Working with business travel clients wishing to book events, meetings and conference requirements across the UK.
* Offering a variety of hotel and venues, explaining their rates and regulations.
* Building a rapport with clients and ensuring excellent customer service.
* Confirming the reservations as required and ensuring the booking process goes smoothly.
* Using in house travel systems and the internet to confirm reservations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidates will ideally come from a background working within a M.I.C.E department and will have experience dealing with a variety of corporate events an clientele. You will posses excellent people and customer service skills, and be able to pay close attention to detail at all times.
Canidates will ideally have experience of working on GALILEO CRS (or similar for cross training).
