AA Appointments are looking for Telesales Travel Consultants to join a leading tour operator, in their cruise telesales department. As a Telesales Travel Consultant you will be selling specialist cruises and will come from a travel or telesales background.
Telesales Travel Consultants Responsibilities:
Convert enquiries into sales while delivering excellent customer service
Using travel knowledge assist customers with suggestions and ideas on itineraries & products
Checking availability and price
Achieving and exceeding sales targets
Achieve 100% booking accuracy, ensuring the customer is made aware of any relevant information that may impact their cruise experience
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to changing call volumes and adapt as required
Develop and increase knowledge of products and geographical areas through training and self-development
Outbound call direct clients/ Travel Agent partners to generate new leads
Telesales Travel Consultants Requirements:
Previous travel industry or telesales experience
Sales & target driven with excellent sales technique supported by evidence of previous performance
Excellent communication skills
Self motivated, outgoing & persuasive
A passion for selling with strong geographical knowledge
Credibility when discussing travel options
Prepared to work 48 hours per week inc weekends
Be willing to learn as product knowledge is essential
Computer literate & clearly spoken English is essential
