Travel Sales Consultant

We are seeking Travel staff to join a busy and growing Retail Travel Branch in Yeovil, Somerset. Competitive salary plus commission and excellent family discounts for all travel.

This exciting position offers great prospects within a well established and thriving Travel Agency group. Working amongst a friendly and customer focused team you will be selling Travel Holidays in a face to face Retail sales role.

  

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing the best possible Customer Service, responding to all customers promptly and courteously and in a friendly manner
• Sell worldwide holidays to members of the public
• To strive to achieve branch and team sales targets
• To proactively sell appropriate "add-ons" and ensure that clients have the correct documentation for their travel, E.g. Passport, Visa.
• To monitor bookings throughout the day, ensuring problems do not occur.
• To share day to day branch duties, including office tidying, banking, filing and general administration, ensuring Company instructions and procedures are adhered to at all times.

To ensure brochures are well stocked and tidily displayed at all times.

Experience

You must have a reasonable amount of recent experience of working within Retail Travel Sales

Staff are required to cover for other branches when within reasonable travelling distance - expenses/mileage paid, and to attend training at another branch - expenses/mileage paid.
