Job Description

Do you have experience in Operations/Customer Service working for a Tour Operator? An Excellent opportunity has arisen based in West Sussex working for a very reputable travel company. Working alongside the Operations Manager you will liaise with overseas suppliers regarding pre-departure issues and in resort problems and assist the frontline team in handling issues that asrise.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Customer Operations & Support Executive will liaise with overseas suppliers and airlines to ensure that any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

The key duties of the Operations & Support Executive will be:

-Taking ownership of booking queries and seeing through to completion inclujding trouble shooting
-Maximising revenue by supporting the company in securing sales and exploiting up-sell opportunities
-Contribute to the handling of customer enquiries in times of mass disruption
-Accountable for the efficient servicing of bookings and responding to queries
by email, web and telephone
-Communicate flight schedule changes during seasonal peaks
-Accountable for responding to all supplier email queries in a timely and professional fashion and resolving disputes including influencing and negotiation skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-The successful candidate should have relevant experience gained either within an in-resort environment and customer service/operations role or have worked within both sales and administration
-Proven administration and excellent customer service skills with a superb understanding of tour operations
-Happy to speak with both suppliers and occassionally customers
-Ability to deal with multiple internal computer systems
-Able to work on a shift pattern including 1 in 3 weekends

THE PACKAGE:

-The successful candidate can expect an attractive salary of circa £16,000 plus shift allowance of £3,000. You will be part of an expanding business, with the opportunity for career progression and excellent staff benefits including travel concessions.
