What You'll Be Doing
Re-visit and re-shape Groups strategy to deliver growth of group leisure sales.
Identify and exploit opportunities to work in the corporate events market, either with 3rd party corporate meetings and events firms or direct with large businesses.
Build on recent progress to drive growth in overseas wedding sales
Deliver agreed volume, margin and growth targets for Groups & Weddings.
Implement and manage a key stakeholder forum to identify and deliver improvements to the groups & weddings proposition.
Liaise with E-Commerce to maximise the presentation of groups & weddings online
Work with in-house retail to grow groups and weddings sales through local marketing and events
Implement a schedule of national events to grow brand awareness in the groups & weddings market.
Work with Finance to implement accurate and measurement of sales performance
Manage, develop and motivate direct reports through effective performance management and communication in order to deliver full business objectives.
Influence all operational activity to drive groups and weddings sales.
Define, deliver and measure the service proposition for the Groups and Weddings call centre team.
Define and deliver all KPIs for the groups & weddings call centre

What We're Looking For
Extensive management and/or sales experience in either a tour operator or travel distribution environment
Proven track record of successful account management
Proven decision making ability excellent commercial judgement.
