Travel Team Leaders - Loughton high road, Essex

£15,000-£21,000 - Inc bonuses + commission OTE 30k+

Are you a Call Centre Team leader with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets within a travel industry environment?

An excellent opportunity has arisen as Ola Holidays are expanding the sales force. Due to fast growth in business & relocation to larger high street premises, based in Loughton, we are actively looking to fulfil this position to the right candidate in our fast paced growing call centre.

Specialising in Mediterranean All inclusive holidays, we have an extensive range of products, including exclusive hotel deals. We are a busy inbound call centre; all sales leads are inbound no cold calling, and are generated from the best sources such as marketing platforms like Teletext holidays, Travel Zoo, Ice lolly as well as are expanding client base & soon coming 2012 summer brochure.

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic persuasive sales people, seeking to take a step up in their career in travel; Ola holidays are a market leading Tour Operator and part of an international hotel group and offer great job security, including a basic salary as well as great earning potential. 

Job Descriptions:

The team leaders will work with the sales team to ensure team and individual targets are met.

Key Duties will include:

  • Leading from the front
  • Motivating staff, being available and accurately responding to sales enquiries
  • Driving performance and improve conversion throughout the sales team
  • Ensuring procedures and guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Providing cover for Assistant Sales Managers when required
  • Maintaining High level of product knowledge
  • This role requires you to work shifts

Candidate Requirements:

  • It is essential you have commission based sales experience and motivated by sales achievements
  • Travel industry experience required, preferably experience in selling short haul Mediterranean tailor made packages.
  • Must have excellent communication and people management skills
  • Strong leadership needed with a skilled approach to planning, implementation and monitoring to ensure success.
