Job Description

Calling all sales driven Reservations Managers.. Do you have team leader experience within a call centre environment? Do you have excellent leadership skills with a proven sales record? Our hospitality company is based in South London and specialise in Apartments in and around London for individual and group clients.

You role as a Reservations Manager will oversee the smooth and efficient running of the reservations department, to ensure all reservations agents process reservations accurately and offer excellent customer service at all times.

This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Reservations Manager to join a highly expanding company offering a very generous basic salary and career progression.

RESERVATIONS MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Managing, motivating and coaching your team to ensure all staff deliver agreed sales.
- To oversee the smooth and efficient running of the reservations department.
- Communicate on a daily basis with the revenue and sales teams.
- Ensure the reservation agents process reservations, amendments and bookings correctly.
- To ensure that all general sales enquiries are responded to within 3 hours during operational hours.
- Email booking system is administered correctly and efficiently at all times.
- Ensure arrivals checks are completed, taking into consideration guest's details.
- Keep apartment allocation correct as per the type of inventory purchased and confirmed by sales.
- To maintain a proactive approach to gathering sales leads for the sales team.
- All administration is completed in the department groups.

RESERVATIONS MANAGER EXPERIENCE:

- Must have previous experience within the Hospitality industry as a Reservations Manager.
- Career minded and experience as a Reservations or call centre Manager.
- Experience of dealing with group and individual reservations.
- Strong Communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a London hotel at managerial level an advantage.
- Good IT skills and well organised.
- Working knowledge of Opera V5 and all Microsoft packages.
- A team player, outgoing and enthusiastic.
- Project oriented.
