You will be working in partnership with managers across our Retail divisions to inform the people approach and make recommendations based on trends and patterns analysis. Youll support managers to identify commercial, pragmatic and consistent HR solutions and empower managers to drive high performance and engagement
What You'll Be Doing
Support and advise line managers in regards to employee relations, ensuring pragmatic and cost effective application as well as limitation of business risk and be responsible for managing any subsequent Employment Tribunal claims
Actively support and drive on change management and continuous improvement initiatives across the business, implementing the necessary steps of consultation, communication, redundancy / relocation / retention / (re)-integration
Work with L&D and operational training teams / independently to develop and deliver bespoke and standard training / coaching sessions to up-skill managers
Support the delivery of activity, including the Be Involved forum, to maintain high levels of employee engagement, at 80% or above, in your business area
Actively support, drive and lead on HR projects to ensure key deliverables are achieved
What We're Looking For
CIPD Qualified, Part Qualified or equivalent
High degree of influencing and impact through relationship management
Passionate about HR good practice and how it can transform ways of working including a dynamic and commercial approach to people issues
Comprehensive and up to date grasp of employment legislation and its practical / pragmatic application
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Passionate about development individually, as a team and as a business actively looking for opportunities to harness this at every opportunity results orientated
Flexible with an ability to travel at least 1 day per week
