An independent Travel Agent are looking for a Travel Consultant to join their successful team. As a travel consultant you will be handling incoming enquiries, both over the phone, face to face and by email, for destinations worldwide, both short haul and long haul. You will be listening to the customers needs, and using your extensive travel knowledge to help create their dream holiday from a full range of travel products. This will also require you to pay attention to the detail of the holiday by offering all extras available (car-hire, excursions, airport parking etc) so that the customers holiday is complete and hassle free. You will then be required to look after the administration generated by the booking, such as checking and posting invoices, ensuring that tickets and documentation are correct and that all correspondence with the customer is forwarded on them. Our Client also runs a small Tour Operator, which you will also be expected to assist with. The successful candidate will be an experienced travel consultant with excellent customer service skills and able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will be friendly and out going and able to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
