Travel Store Manager - Cambridge Excellent Salary and Benefits
My client, a tour operator who provide long haul holidays for the more adventurous client requires a focused dynamic Store Manager for their centrally located branch in Cambridge.
The Store Manager will oversee management of the branch ensuring targets are met and exceed.
Store Manager Responsibilities:
To maximise sales, revenue, and profitability through excellent sales performance and effective management
To lead, manage and motivate and develop a high performing team
To ensure all customers are provided with excellent levels of service
Store Manager Duties:
Analyse branch sales and feedback from team in order to feedback to Area Sales Manager on product requirements and sales opportunities
Meet monthly with the Area Sales Manger to review sales team performance and feedback on actions being taken to maximise sales and margin
Identify team training needs and ensure adequate product and sales skill training is in place for team
Create an team environment where people are recognised and rewarded for positive contribution to the business
Hold a weekly team meeting communicating to team on sales performance, directive selling requirements and product promotions
Store Manager Essential Skills and Aptitudes:
At least 1 years experience as a Store / Branch Manager gained within the travel industry
Proven travel management experience gained within the travel industry
Proven sales coaching skills
Strong leadership and team building skills
Detailed Worldwide destination and tailor made sales knowledge
A passion for travel
Preferably have travelled extensively worldwide
Proven communication skills
Branch Manager Remuneration:
Basic Salary of £24000 to £28000
Uncapped commission scheme
