JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT ROLE:
My client is an independent retail travel company, who due to expansion are now looking for a Travel Consultant to join their busy team. As a Retail Travel Advisor you will be given the opportunity to maximise the stores potential in this affluent location, excel in providing first class Customer Service and demonstrate effective sales.
Duties Include for this Travel Advisor position:
* Working face-to-face and over the phone taking enquires from customers using the Viewdata system.
* Offering excellent customer service, dealing with complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner.
* Quoting holidays and converting these to bookings.
* Keeping your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in- depth knowledge of the companies brochures and destinations.
* Working to sales targets, whilst up selling ancillaries such as Travel Insurance, car hire etc.
* You can expect to be dealing with dynamic packaging/tailor-made itineraries, along with package holidays.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will ideally have worked as a Travel Consultant looking for a new challenge or have excellent customer service with Travel Qualifications.
