My client, one of the UKs leading luxury tour operators requires a Africa Travel Specialist to join their deluxe travel team based in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE TRAVELLED EXTENSIVELY WITHIN AFRICA AND MUST INCLUDE A DETAILED TRAVEL PROFILE WITH THEIR CV.

As an Africa Travel Specialist you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

• Booking all aspects of travel to Africa
• Up-selling and adding on of ancillary products including insurance, excursions, etc
• Dealing with the public by telephone and email
• Ensure all bookings are dealt with accurately with high attention to detail
• Administration duties required to complete bookings
• Maintain high standards of product knowledge by attending training sessions from the Suppliers and feedback from colleagues

Africa Travel Specialist remuneration package:

• Basic salary £20000
• 20 days holiday plus public/bank holidays
• Predominately Monday to Friday rota

Africa Travel Specialist skill attributes:

• Extensively travelled within Africa
• Travel industry sales experience
• Good sales techniques
• An excellent telephone manner
• Attention to detail
• The ability to meet tight deadlines
• To work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.
• Must be to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• A high standard of written English
