Calling all Far East Specialists. Do you have excellent tailor made reservations experience? Do you have extensive first hand travel knowledge of the Far East? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist luxury Tour Operator based in Central London. The successful candidate will join a friendly team and will use their strong sales skills in order to earn the fantastic commission they deserve.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The reservations consultant will work within a busy call centre environment selling tailor made luxury holidays to the Far East.
- The job involves handling enquiries and bookings both over phone and via email.
- Answering calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- To ensure that enquiries are converted to bookings using customer service and sales skills
- You will also be expected to perform administration duties so you must be highly organised.
- Working towards individual sales targets in order to earn commission
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Previous travel industry experience working within a reservations role preferably as a Far East specialist
- Extensive first hand travel experience of Far East destinations
- Experience of costing and planning tailor made itineraries
- Must have a strong sales ability and experience working towards targets
- Computer literate and with CRS experience
- You will need to be organised, accurate, methodical and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
