Our client who are an award winning adventure travel company require an experienced and sales orientated India and Sub Continent Specialist for a successful office in South West London.
The India and Sub Continent Specialist will handle calls by phone creating and booking tailor-made itineraries to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. You must have excellent travel experience in visiting India and Sub Continent and a passion for working in a sales orientated environment together with the hunger to exceed departmental targets.
As part of the role of India and Sub Continent Specialist you will prepare client travel documentation from visas to despatching all tickets and itineraries and excellent administrative skills will be vital to the role.
INDIA AND SUB CONTINENT SPECIALIST DESCRIPTION:
- Handle incoming calls by phone, email and website.
- Creating tailor-made itineraries and selling tailor-made holidays to India and Sub Continent.
- Booking tailor-made tours and reserving flights through the suppliers.
- Dealing and managing overseas suppliers.
- Prepare client travel documentation such as pre-departure information, visas, travel letter and flight tickets.
- Assisting in marketing activities such as coming up with ideas for new products and special offers
- Working with marketing department relating to PR and social media ideas.
- Attend Trade shows and functions when required.
- Dealing with all customer service complaints skills.
INDIA AND SUB CONTINENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must be from a sales background within the travel industry.
- Proven experience in tailor-made holidays handling complex itineraries.
- Well travelled to India and Sub Continent.
- Good knowledge of locations around the world and visas.
- Excellent and clear telephone manner.
- To be well organised and a good communicator.
- Confidence to meet clients and agents face to face.
THE PACKAGE:

This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work required on a rota basis.
