A well established independent travel company experts in tailor made holidays to world wide destinations is seeking a reservations consultant to join their knowledgeable and professional team. The reservations consultant will be responsible for designing tailor made worldwide holidays to a range of clientele. Using planning and organisational skills the reservations consultant will use their specialist knowledge to provide clients with accurate information and select the most appropriate flights, accommodation and excursions for the client. The reservations consultant will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing high spending and high profile clients. The reservations consultant will demonstrate a total commitment to customer service to encourage repeat business as well as actively seeking new business from potential clients and building and developing their own client database. The reservations consultant will have a strong interest in developing and marketing the different strands of the company's core business. The applicant must have previous sales experience and a good knowledge of both long and short haul travel is required. He/she must be able to work using their initiative.
