With over 2 Million passengers annually booking with us, Travel Republic is one of the largest and well established travel agents available online.

Due to our continued success and fantastic start to the new year, we are now looking to recruit some seasonal Travel Reservations Advisors to be based in our Kingston Upon Thames office.

Core hours we are looking to fill are Monday - Friday 6 -10pm (you may work as many or as few evenings as necessary) and Weekends - 9am - 9pm (again hours here are flexible) but once you have chosen your shifts these are your core hours.

We are looking for people who are immediately available and can start with us asap for temporary contracts until around September.

As a Travel Reservations Advisor, you will be required to handle inbound reservation queries in a fast paced reservations environment.

You will use your knowledge and expertise to convert enquiries into reservations to meet specific customer needs.

You will be required to work a shift pattern that will encompass evening work (until 10pm), weekends and bank holidays.

This is a fast paced, but fun environment to work in and you will earn extra commission for your sales.

Key responsibilities and accountability

To act as first point of contact for all reservations queries raised by the customer via telephone, email, internet or fax;

To handle all travel reservations enquiries in a timely and professional manner;
To endeavor to cross and up-sell where an appropriate sales opportunity exists;
To overcome customer objections - thus maximizing sales opportunities;
To liaise with internal departments to ensure that the customers enquiry is handled within agreed timescales;
To undertake ad hoc administrative tasks assigned to you by your line manager

Education and Experience;
Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with a grade C in both Maths or English
Minimum 6 months experience in the travel industry;
Knowledge of admin procedures obtained through working in an office environment
Computer Literate
Knowledge of a European language is desirable

Please note you must live within very easy travelling distance of Kingston Upon Thames.

Travel Reservations Advisors must be able to be flexible with the hours worked in our service centre. You can work just weekends, just evenings, or a mix of evening/weekends. Please state your availability on you cover email/letter

We are looking for people to start immediately!

Please note - you must be available for training for 4 part days (during the day) Prior to starting.

£9.50 per hour + Commission
