Due to increased business, they are now looking for a number of exceptional cruise reservation consultants to join their rapidly expanding call centre based in Redditch. They have been established over 23 years and grew by 30% last year and expect to grow a further 30% this year.

The rewards for success are high. The average earnings in 2009 for a cruise consultant were £23,000, whilst the top cruise sales consultants achieved £40,000-£55. In addition, our client offers 4 weeks holiday, a pension plan, free parking, free travel insurance and overtime if wanted. These roles are suited to those who are highly motivated and sales driven, ideally with some travel experience but this is not essential as travel industry training will be given.

Each consultant has their own, personal blog which they update on a weekly basis and this helps to not only promote the company but the consultant and the expertise they are able to offer. This really is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced travel consultant wishing to progress their travel career or for those with a proven track record in sales to break into the travel industry.

Role of Cruise Sales Consultant:

*Taking calls from direct customers and trade clients throughout the UK
*Selling cruise itineraries from all the major suppliers
*Selling ancillary products to maximise profits
*Accurately processing cruise bookings
*Maintain high office and personal standards
*Reaching targets set

Necessary skills required for Cruise Sales Consultant:

*Strong telephone manner

*Passion for sales

*Self motivated

Additional information:

The company offers a competitive starting salary plus great uncapped bonus structure. They are looking for experienced travel or sales industry professionals who are looking to broaden their experience in the industry.

The working hours are 37.5hours per week and the shift pattern is generally a week of "earlies" 9.00am - 5.30pm, then a week of "lates" 11.30am - 8.00pm. There is a degree of flexibility to suit individual requirements e.g. dropping/collecting children at nursery.
