Specialist Travel Consultant required for this busy, Leeds based, tour operator.
JOB DESRIPTION:
A suitably experienced individual is required for this busy specialist travel sales team. This specialist tour operator sells luxury tailor-made travel to many worldwide destinations, specifically USA, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 with Saturdays worked, approx once per month.
Key responsibilities, for this travel role, include:
- Receiving inbound calls and emails, servicing the enquiry and issuing quotes.
- Selling luxury travel to the above destinations.
- Use your previous sales experience to sell these destinations.
- Tailor itineraries and travel arrangements to perfectly match customer requirements.
- Deliver the highest standards of customer service to travel agents with some direct sales.
- Use of Sabre CRS for flight reservations
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate is to be suitably experienced ideally with Sabre CRS however it is possible to cross train from Galileo, Amadeus or Worldspan. It is essential to have sold USA, Canada, Hawaii and Alaska in your previous role or to have travelled extensively to these destinations along with you CRS knowledge to be considered for this role.
