Travel Consultants Derbyshire Based
£14,000 + Commission
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Travel Consultant to join my for my client who is one of the UK's travel companies.
This for their recently opened state of the art modern store based in Derbyshire.
The role involves selling dynamic packaged and packaged holidays face to face to clients
As a Travel Consultant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
- Selling a full variety of holidays, short haul, long haul, cruises etc
- Dealing with holiday queries both face to face and over the phone
- Selling extras such as excursions, travel insurance, transfers and upgrades.
- Working to and exceeding set sales and performance targets
- General administration
Travel Consultant remuneration package:
- Salary to £14K + Excellent Commission

Travel Consultant skill attributes:
- Travel sales experience is essential either within a tour operator or travel agent
- Excellent telephone manner with exceptional customer service
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and must have an eye for detail
- Previous experience of tailor-making itineraries would be a distinct advantage
