To support in the business partnering of senior managers within the Airline division to identify, communicate and drive the delivery of commercial and financial benefits. Deliver Airline & finance objectives including the provision of clear and timely management information.
Key areas to support are Establishment and Commercial Lease Outs. Support on key projects including financial rationale and business cases.
Requirements
Responsible for £55m of Establishment costs
Support role in critical airline projects within remit.
Provide, clear, timely, accurate and insightful commercial information to airline teams through a structured methodical approach
Work with key stakeholders to deliver robust inputs into the planning process, including 5 year plan, annual budget, seasonal pricing processes and monthly forecasts
Partner with reporting team to ensure clear communication of key information
Partner with accounting team to monitor and understand balance sheet activity. Take action to ensure no unanticipated risks materialise
Closely monitor risks and opportunities within key areas of responsibility
Actively review contracts and commercial deals to minimise costs and risks to the business. Provide support to key stakeholders in the development of business cases
Continuously seek improvements to underlying processes and drive efficiency into the team.
