Job Description

At A Glance

To be the lead analyst defining business intelligence solutions on high profile projects across our Airline, Tour Operator, Distribution businesses. This is a role for an experienced, hands on, business intelligence professional who will work closely with the business users and the IT development team to deliver corporate reporting solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take an active role in key developments across Airline, Tour Operator, Distribution and other areas of the business.
  • Meet with users to gather high level business requirements.
  • Document detailed requirements including data modelling, source to target mapping, reporting schema design and object definitions.
  • Communicate requirements to the development team and ensure that the development is carried out in accordance with requirements.
  • Work with the systems integration testing (SIT) team and that adequate SIT is performed.
  • Provide technical lead for other BI analysis.
  • Oversee and provide assistance and support during the analysis lifecycle.
  • Prioritise BI analysis resource in accordance with set objectives.
  • Co-ordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) across the BI Analysis team and end users.
  • Design and deliver business intelligence reporting environments.
  • Provide assistance with more complex reporting requirements.
  • Managing a small team.


What We're Looking For

  • Highly numerate and with working knowledge and experience of accounting systems and accounting principals.
  • Extensive practical experience and management of BI development projects from an analysis perspective.
  • Proven high level of technical expertise in BI reporting environments including modern database design and principals.
  • Extensive experience in BI tools, their implementation and use.
